Assembling your invisible chamois:
Remove and save yellow shipping plugs. Insert 2-foot tubing into John Guest fitting on IN-let side of tank. Slightly pull tubing to check for proper insertion. Insert 30-foot tubing into OUT-let side. Repeat insertion check. Incorrect connection will cause rapid depletion.

Filling tank with water & venting air
Connect to water hose or outside faucet. Loosen air relief cap on top of tank 2 full turns. Partially open water supply and watch for a small amount of water to appear around the air relief cap. Note: This process may take 2-3 minutes. Turn water supply off. Hand tighten air relief cap, plus ¼ turn with a wrench. Turn water supply back on and squeeze spray wand until air is purged and water flows smoothly.

Testing the water with Optional TDS Meter
Run water from spray want for 15 seconds. Rinse, then fill sample container with water from spray wand. Turn on TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) meter and immerse in sample without exceeding the maximum immersion level. Stir gently and wait for display to stabilize. Read valve on display, expressed in ppm (parts per million). Regeneration is needed at approximately 10ppm. * Complete instructions for your TDS Meter are included.

Returning depleted tanks

This reduces the cost  of shipping and the chance of damage due to freezing. To drain excess water, invert tank overnight.     DO NOT REMOVE AIR RELIEF CAP OR TANK FITTING. Water will drain slowly from th IN and OUT fittings. Once drained, insert yellow shipping plugs into fittings of tank. Package and ship the depleted tank using the enclosed prepaid shipping label.
